Cash processor-Full time and temporary position

£9 per hour

Job  purpose:

To process, receive and dispatch banknotes in a high value/volume Cash Centre: meeting deadlines whilst maintaining an efficient and safe working environment. Ensure a professional and error free service is provided to the customer.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Receive, bulk-count and package bank notes in readiness for despatch and exporting
  • Coordinate with the Team Leader to prioritize daily output and work as part of a team to achieve maximum productivity and ensure service levels are met
  • Identify and report any and all discrepancies immediately to the Team Leader
  • Liaise and communicate with customers and  Team Leader and  Manager to improve ways of working/optimize efficiency, and providing subject matter expertise/sharing information
  • Work in all areas of the  Cash Centre to provide cover for staff absence (holidays, sickness, training)
  • To compline with all  Security Controls and Procedures to eliminate risk of loss
  • Work by example and champion the values and behaviours of the organization to promote a culture of safety, Customer Focus, Integrity, Engagement and Continuous Improvement
